Although there are times when most of us would love to leave everything behind for a time and take a trip somewhere exotic. Somewhere like the Amazon jungle, The Himalayas or to some hidden gem, off the beaten track where only the most avid explorers dare tread. Sadly this is not a reality for the majority of people, whose lives are a daily cycle of work, bills, children, family, commitments and often simple survival.
So, is this it then?
Is this what the human race is destined to live, a life of survival?…
As Henry David Thoreau so eloquently put it….
“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation.”
Well….why on earth are we here then…?
Has this always been the lot of the human race ..or have we forgotten, or perhaps never been taught a deeper truth about our existence and why we are really here?
Our ancestors knew….and although the information was pushed under ground for thousands of years for safe keeping, the knowledge is now coming to light once again, in this extraordinary age in which we are living.
So what is this knowledge and where do I find it?
Well, in so many ways…it is so strange that we need even ask this question, as this knowledge and the access to it, lies within the brain of each and every human being, but we have never been taught how to access it.
With the incredible invention of brain scans, this access can actually be monitored by machines as people connect with the knowledge, it can actually be seen as high frequency brain waves on a brain scan, of people in meditation.
The access point is a very small gland at the back of your head, called the pineal gland.
If you imagine a golden string that leads from the point in the centre of your forehead, between your eyes, known as the third eye or sixth energy centre, to the back of your head, a few inches away from the back of your skull…then you have it.
This gland is responsible for the production of serotonin, which is commonly known as the ‘happy hormone’ it regulates your mood and helps the nervous system stay balanced. In addition, the pineal gland also secretes melatonin, the sleep hormone, so if you are struggling with insomnia or depression, then connecting with your pineal gland is a wonderful thing to do.
This pineal gland is so much more though than just a way to make you happy and sleepy, it is the way to connect to your inner wisdom and to the divine field.
By accessing this gland and becoming familiar with it, you begin to naturally tap into its genius on a regular basis, rather than always relying on the often confusing, cognitive brain.
By accessing the pineal gland we become aware of the infinite possibilities that exist in the quantum field and become more familiar with the concept of how we actually create our own reality with our thoughts.
It is through this incredible gland that we are able to embrace our true understanding of who we are, begin to change our realities, by changing our thoughts, find happiness, sleep well and therefore restore the body to a more healthful state, as well as accessing the hidden knowledge that lies dormant within every human being.
To connect with your pineal gland, simply find a quiet place, where you will not be disturbed, turn off the lights and close your eyes.
Imagine the golden string that begins in the darkness behind your eyes….follow it until you find your pineal gland….and then, simply sit in its presence….meditate here in the presence of this extraordinary centre and take note of what happens…..you never know…you might just change your life!
All the love
